Today, Wadood Dilsoz, President of the Afghan Community, attended the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Royal Canadian Legion in Surrey. The event brought together veterans, soldiers , community members, and local leaders to honour those who sacrificed for Canada. Mr. Dilsoz met and greeted soldiers who served abroad and joined others in paying heartfelt tribute through the national anthem, a moment of silence, and the laying of wreaths in memory of fallen heroes.
