Today, President of the Afghan Community, Wadood Dilsoz, met with the Honorable Randeep Sarai, the Secretary of State for International Development. During their conversation, they addressed several critical topics. They spoke about the challenges facing our community youth, as we have sadly lost many young people over the past year. They also discussed advocacy for Afghans who worked at the Canadian Embassy in Afghanistan. Additionally, they talked about the vital importance of female education in Afghanistan. Secretary of State Sarai was very positive about the services we provide to our community and the services we aim to expand. We will continue to work together to strengthen these efforts.
