Foreign Credential Recognition – Important Information for Our Community
If you were trained outside Canada and want to work in a licensed profession or compulsory trade, you must have your credentials recognized by the provincial regulatory body. This process verifies your education and work experience and may require exams, training, or certification.
Financial help is available:
You may qualify for Foreign Credential Recognition Loans ($15,000–$30,000) to cover exams, training, and related costs. Career counseling and job support services are also offered.
