There is misinformation spreading on WhatsApp about a meeting supposedly organized by the Afghan Community Vancouver Foundation. These messages are fake and are part of a scam to steal your WhatsApp, access your contacts, and request money from them.
ACVF will never call you to ask for personal information.
All official updates come only through our social media pages or our website. If it’s not posted there, it is not true.
Please do NOT share your contact details with anyone calling on behalf of the community.
Never share any codes or verification messages sent to your phone, WhatsApp, or email, not with anyone, ever.
